UX Designer — Self-Service
About Curoflow
Curoflow is building the operating system for European private healthcare. Our platform gives SME clinics everything they need to run their practice — from digital patient intake and video consultations to EHR, e-prescriptions, lab integrations, and AI-powered clinical support — in a single, CE-marked, GDPR-compliant solution.
We are 25 people today, operating customers across 9 geographic markets and we are getting ready to scale to ~70 employees across 5 core markets — and beyond — within ~18 months.
We Are Hiring Across the Organisation
This job ad is one of many we are releasing simultaneously. We are building multiple teams in parallel — product, engineering, commercial, operations, and leadership — as we enter the most defining chapter in our company’s history.
While we are publishing these roles now (May 2026), we expect most hires for this wave to begin working between September and November 2026. We will take the time we need to find the right person for each role. We would rather wait for the right fit than rush to fill a seat.
What Kind of Person We Are Looking For
Let’s keep it simple. Curoflow is a start-up that will be having growth pains — with everything that entails. You will be judged first and foremost by your character. If you are applying for this job thinking it is just any other job, you would be wrong.
We will demand a growth mindset and someone who is deeply committed to our goals. You will be compensated accordingly, but we must stress that we are looking for the type of person whose motivation primarily comes from earning stock options and being part of building a great company.
In return you will get that rare, once-in-a-lifetime opportunity that can mark a lifelong memory of what you were part of building.
The Role: UX Designer — Self-Service
The first 15 minutes of a clinic’s experience with Curoflow will determine whether they stay or leave. As UX Designer for Self-Service, you are the person who designs those 15 minutes.
You will be responsible for the entire self-service onboarding experience — from the moment a clinic owner lands on our signup page to the moment they see their first patient. This includes the configuration wizard, the go-live checklist, the integration setup, and every micro-interaction in between.
You will work within a dedicated self-service squad alongside a Product Manager, two engineers, and a QA engineer. Together, you will build the product that transforms Curoflow from a sales-assisted platform into a true product-led growth engine.
What You’ll Do
First 6–12 Months
• Lead user research from day one — interview clinic owners, shadow onboarding sessions, and map every friction point in the current assisted onboarding process
• Design the end-to-end self-service onboarding flow: signup, clinic configuration, scheduling setup, branding, integration selection, and go-live
• Create prototypes and run usability tests with real clinic owners across multiple European markets
• Build and maintain a self-service component library that extends Curoflow’s existing design system
• Design the integration marketplace UX — how clinics discover, activate, and configure third-party integrations (labs, prescriptions, billing)
• Work closely with engineers to ensure designs are implementable within technical constraints (multi-tenancy, provisioning speed, market-specific variations)
As We Scale (12–24 Months)
• Design the white-label configuration experience for partner and reseller channels
• Create the analytics dashboard that gives self-service clinics visibility into their practice performance
• Evolve the experience based on data — reduce drop-off, increase zero-touch completion, and improve time-to-first-patient
• Adapt onboarding flows for new markets with different regulatory requirements and clinical workflows
Who You Are
• 4+ years as a UX/Product Designer in a SaaS, platform, or B2B product company
• Portfolio that demonstrates onboarding, wizard, or setup-flow design — you have designed experiences where the goal is getting users to value as fast as possible
• Strong user research skills — you conduct your own interviews, you don’t just design from briefs
• Proficiency in Figma; experience with design systems and component libraries
• Ability to balance simplicity with the complexity of a configurable healthcare platform
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced squad with direct access to engineers and product management
• AI native in everything you do
• Excellent English; Swedish or a Scandinavian language is a plus
Preferably
• Experience designing for healthcare, medtech, or regulated SaaS environments
• Background in PLG or self-service product design
• Understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG) and how they apply to clinical software
Why This Role Matters
You are designing the front door to Curoflow’s future. Every clinic that self-onboards without calling support is proof that our platform can scale across Europe. This is the kind of design challenge that shapes a career.
What We Offer
• A role where your work has outsized impact — at a company this size, everything you do matters
• Real ownership of your area from day one, with the autonomy to shape how things are done
• A product and mission that genuinely matters — we are making healthcare more accessible across Europe
• Equity participation (stock options) post probation period, because we want everyone to share in what we are building
• A collaborative, low-ego culture where people care deeply about what they’re building
• Expected start date: September–November 2026
How to Apply
Send your CV and a short cover letter explaining why this role excites you. We value substance over polish — tell us what you’ve built, not just where you’ve worked.
FYI: We are hiring for many roles simultaneously and are committed to finding the right person for each one — not the fastest. Please bear with us if our response times are longer than usual; we promise every application will be reviewed.
